AMU students continue protest on 5th day

Aligarh: Aligarh Muslim University students continued protest against the attack of anti-social elements and police lathicharge for the 5th day. Former president JNU students union Mohit Pande and Tabrez Hasan met the protesting students. They made it clear that their protest is not for Jinnah’s portrait but against the attack of anti-social elements and police lathicharge. Mohit Pande slammed BJP and prime minister and said that these anti-social elements are spreading hatred emboldened by the government.

The protest is continued in AMU for the past five days. The dharna at Bab-e-Sir Syed in AMU received overwhelming support from the students. Girl students of the university are also protesting shoulder to shoulder with male students.
