Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh is gearing up for the F1H2O international powerboat racing championship, which is scheduled to commence on November 16.
As a precursor, a parade rally of all the nine power boats was held in Vijayawada this evening. The rally lasted for almost five kilometres.
As many as nine international teams are participating in this event. Host city Amaravati is also taking part with Swedish racers. State tourism department and Krishna district administration have made elaborate arrangements for the three-day-long event.
The second edition of the Amaravati global dance and music festival is also being celebrated in the sidelines of the F1H2O boat race.
