TDP MLA V Anitha, representing Payakaraopet Assembly constituency in the district has said she filed a Rs one crore defamation case against YSRCP MLA Roja.
Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Anitha said she, being a Dalit, felt severely hurt, when Roja made objectionable personal remarks against her in the Assembly. I and my family members felt insulted and had to face embarrassment with the unsavoury remarks of Roja, she added.
Alleging that the Opposition leaders were behaving like terrorists, the TDP MLA said she has filed a defamation case of Rs one crore and there is no question of going back till she gets justice. “Roja has the habit of changing parties. One day, she will come out from YSRCP and she will talk against the YSR family members, Anitha alleged. (NSS)
