Anjum Saifi fulfills father’s wish 25 years after he was killed by extortionists

Muzaffarnagar (UP): Muzaffarnagar girl’s dream came true when she qualifies and be appointed as a civil judge after clearing the exams as declared by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC).

29-year-old Anjum Saifi managed to achieve this despite facing a number of hardships.

According to Times Of India Saifi’s father Rasheed Ahmad, had stood up against extortionists in a market where he used to run a hardware shop. Ahmad was gunned down in broad daylight for standing up against goons who were trying to extract money from people.

During the studies, her brother supported her. In order to fulfill the dream of his father. Dilshad Ahmad, Anjum’s eldest brother, 40, remained unmarried to bear the responsibilities of the family after the death of his father.

Becoming a judge for her was significant not because it was her dream, but for the reason that it was her father’s last wish, who lost his life 25 years ago while fighting for a noble cause.

Today, Anjum recalls the faint memories of how her father used to ask her to become a judge.
