Anybody can become PM: BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha attacks PM Modi

New Delhi: After Shiv Sena attacking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for slamming Congress President Rahul Gandhi’s expression of a desire to become PM, BJP MP Shatrughan Sinha in a fresh salvo criticized PM Modi.

“Anybody can become PM in our democracy. Naamdar, Kaamdar, Daamdar or for that matter any average Samajhdar, if he has the numbers & support. Why are we making such a hue and cry about it? After all isn’t it their internal matter & any PMship has to be through verdict of majority,” Sinha said in a tweet.

The BJP MP appreciating Rahul Gandhi for his pertinent questions said: “By the way, the president of the oldest party has really matured in last few years & has been raising some pertinent question which we are refusing to answer or even entertain.”

Recently, Shiv Sena member Sanjay Raut had slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi and told India Today that the PM should abstain from making personal attacks. “Every party decides as per their need. If in 2019 Rahul wants to become PM, people will decide, just as people elected the BJP in 2014. If we believe in democracy it’s not right to demean any leader like this,” Raut said.
