Andhra Pradesh State Kapu Welfare Department & Corporation Ltd MD, Dr. R. Amarendra Kumar faces charges of corruption, He has been removed from the post. The government notified his removal and repatriated the official to his parent Animal Husbandry department.
Amarendra was brought on deputation to the much-coveted post after the establishment of the Kapu Corporation amid mounting demand for inclusion of Kapus in BC list by Mudragada Padmanabham in January 2016
