The death toll in the boat capsize incident in Krishna river near Vijayawada has risen to 21 with the recovery of three more bodies on Monday.
Meanwhile, a video of an angry APSTDC official warning the boat operator and the driver against taking tourists on board went viral on social media. Ignoring the official’s warning, the boat, however, picked up tourists from another jetty and capsized on Sunday evening.
