Arab states warming up with Israel, ignoring the plight of Palestinians

Not unlike other Arab states, Egypt also seems to be warming up to Israel. Recently at the UN general Assembly in New York, Egyptian President Sisi urged the Arab nations to support Israel. He also had his first public meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Despite a long history of conflict wars, Arab states and Israel have a few things in common, like they both believe that Al Jazeera supports terrorism and Hamas is a terrorist organisation. Arab states and Israel have grown even closer, since the start of the Saudi-led anti-Qatar campaign. Even the Bahraini king has recently denounced the Arab boycott of Israel and has allowed Bahraini citizens to travel freely to Israel.

However amidst all this, Arab states seem to have ignored the plight of Palestinians and the human rights abuses being committed by Israel against Palestinians.
