New Delhi: At a time when BJP is attacked from all fronts on key issues like demonetisation, RBI, CBI and Rafale, National President All India Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen and MP Asaduddin and Amit Shah have begun a new discussion.
Addressing a public meeting, All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) president Asaduddin Owaisi hit out at the Bharatiya Janata Party alleging that the BJP wanted to rid India of Muslims. His remark came ahead of assembly elections in Telangana. He was responding to a reported remark by BJP president Amit Shah that his party would rid Hyderabad of the AIMIM.
In response, Owaisi is quoted to have said, “Not Majlis ‘mukt’ (free), you want to rid India of Muslims, you want to do annihilation of Muslims from India.”
Responding to Owaisi’s remark, Congress leader and former MP Tariq Anwar said the remark made by Asaduddin Owaisi shows that he has nexus with BJP. His comment can benefit BJP. This was reported by Inquilab.
Ex-MP Ali Anwar Ansari said Owaisi should not have given such statement. Owaisi always talks of only Muslims which benefits BJP. BJP is attacking the constitution of the country, democracy, Supreme Court, CBI, RBI etc. Muslims are but a small thing for it. BJP is attacking Dalits also.
