ASF, UVA organise ‘Kids Eid Gift Program’ for refugees in Austin

Austin: Ahlus Sunnah Foundation (ASF) and United Volunteers Association (UVA) organise a charitable event was able to complete another successful and beautiful event this Ramadan – Kids Eid Gift Program intended to provide Refugee Chidren in Austin an experience of purchasing their Eid Gifts with their families.

The organisations have serve 503 children below the age of 15 years with a total invoice cost of $11727.48 at Walmart on Sunday 3rd June 2018.

United Volunteers Association (UVA) incorporated in the state of Texas within the rules and regulations of Texas non-profit corporation Act. United Volunteers Association (UVA) is USA based 501 (C) (3) approved non-profit charitable organization. It is established to fulfill our responsibility towards humanity regardless of race, gender, ethnicity, class, location, religion, color, cultural diversity and social background, with a special focus on the majority of the population living below the poverty line.

Both the organisations thanked Almighty ALLAH and His Beloved Prophet Mohammed (Peace and Blessing be Upon Him) for this opportunity. Also thanked each and everyone of the board members of ASF & UVA, donors, volunteers and Walmart staff for making this event beautiful and enjoyable.

The organisation special thanked Gerry (Walmart Store Manager) and Heidi (Walmart Co-Manager) and Walmart staff who were so patient, helpful and supportive all through-out the program.
