The Agricultural Scientists Recruitment Board (ASRB) under Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR)) will hold a combined Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Examination (Preliminary) – 2017 and National Eligibility Test (NET-I) – 2018 Examination.
The ASRB ARS NET 2018 Exam scheduled to be held during 6th April 2018 to 13th April 2018 in Online Mode at 23 various centres across India. The ARS 2017 Main Examination will be conducted on 24th June 2018. for selection of 180 posts of Scientists in Agricultural Research Service (ARS) of Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
The ASRB NET Exam 2018 for selection of Lecturer/ Assistant Professor in State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) / Agricultural Universities (AUs). The last date for submission of online applications is 2nd March 2018.
The ARS (Preliminary) Examination is a qualifying examination and its marks will not be carried forward for determining final merit of the candidates.
National Eligibility Test (NET) is a qualifying examination for determining eligibility for the position of Lecturer/Assistant Professor in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) and other Agricultural Universities (AUs). Candidates clearing the National Eligibility Test will be eligible to apply for the post of Lecturers or Assistant Professors in the SAUs/AUs.

(a) For ARS – 2017 Exam -> Between 21 years and 32 years as on 01.01.2018 (Relaxation as per rules stipulated in the Notification for prescribed Reserved Categories / Departmental Candidates.)
(b) For NET(I)-2018 Exam -> Must be atleast 21 years as on 01.01.2018 (No Upper Age limit)
Educational Qualification: Master’s Degree or equivalent in the concerned Discipline and Specialization completed on or before 24/06/2018.
Application Fee: The fee must be paid online through the online application form. The Payment can be made through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking from any Bank from 10:00 Hours on 06/02/2018 till 17:00 Hours on 02/23/2018.
