New Delhi: SDPI lashed out at Modi government over NRC issue in Assam during a meeting at Parliament Street. President SDPIM K Faizi alleged that Modi government is trying to give a serious turn to the language issue between Assam resident and non-Assam residents. He accused the central government of not including 40 lakh people from NRC list with a planned conspiracy.
M K Faizi said, the final draft of NRC was released on July 30, 2018, but a lot of injustices was done to the people who wanted to include their names in the NRC. He informed that a group of senior leaders of SDPI has met the affected people by visiting Assam and they are providing legal aid to the affected and trying to provide them justice.
