Assembly Elections: Congress clears its stand about contesting in Old City of Hyderabad

Hyderabad: President of TS Congress, Capt. Uttam Kumar Reddy declared that the party will contest in Assembly constituencies of Old City of Hyderabad.

He made it clear that the party will not have any alliance with any political party including MIM.

He declared that Mr. Feroz Khan will be Congress candidate from Nampally. A meeting of the Congress party was held at Gandhi Bhavan on 23rd August. It was attended by Secretary of AICC, Mr. Saleem Ahmed, President of Hyderabad City Congress, Mr. Anjan Kumar Yadav, spokesman of Congress, Syed Nizamuddin, In-charge of Khairtabad area, Mr. Amer Javeed and others.

Capt. Reddy told that Congress will win the polls with thumping majority and it will fulfill all its promises. He further told that Congress has prepared a special plan for Greater Hyderabad. It will give tickets to settlers. He advised the Congress leaders to get in touch with people, keep themselves abreast of their issues and make an attempt to get them resolved.
