Chhindwara [Madhya Pradesh]: In an incident of attempt to murder which was captured in CCTV, a man set himself ablaze and then hugged a girl.
According to the report published in DNA, this incident took place in Chhindwara of Madhya Pradesh and the girl was a witness in another case. The accused is identified as Navneet Junghare.
Earlier, Navneet had allegedly shared objectionable photos of another girl who belongs to the same district. The girl who is a victim in the present attempt to murder incident is also a witness in the earlier case against Navneet.
In the video which went viral, it can be seen that a man who set himself on fire hugged the girl. She reportedly came to the hotel to celebrate her birthday. The incident which took place at 11 a.m. on Thursday was recorded in the CCTV of a hotel located at Bajaj Chowk in Sausar.
People present at the spot immediately doused the fire and rushed them to a nearby hospital.
Police registered a case and started an investigation.
