Audio clip controversy: Fadnavis suggests committee to solve issue

Mumbai: Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis on Monday said that a committee should be formed in order to address the issue of oppositions protesting over his wife, Amruta Fadnavis lending her voice to a song.

Amruta fadnavis, who is a an amateur singer, had lent her voice to a song, which promoted the ‘Rally for Rivers’ campaign of Isha Foundation (a spiritual organisation) along with Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam.

“Committee should be formed with Speaker of Assembly, leader of opposition, Chairman of Council and leader of House in Council to take decision”, said Devendra Fadnavis.

Reportedly, the opposition has complained and alleged Fadnavis of wasting government resources in order to promote his wife.(ANI)
