AURANGABAD: Syed Mateen, an AIMIM Corporator from Aurangabad was badly bashed up by BJP-Shiv Sena members after he opposes condolence of the former Prime Minister, Atal Bihari Vajpayee.
According to reports, a program to pay tribute to former Prime Minister was held in the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation and asked the Chairman to register his protest. After this, the BJP’s councilors punished with repeated blows.
In a video that circulated on social media, Mateen was surrounded by members of the BJP and Shiv Sena and was thrashed mercilessly. A woman councilor is also landing a few blows on Mateen.
From the video, it was evident that if the AIMIM member was not escorted by the security personnel in time, the BJP’s councilors would have lynched him.
Mateen received injuring and was admitted to the hospital.

Speaking to reporters, Mateen had said that the councilors of BJP and Shiv Sena thrash him fiercely and therefore he wants all those councilors to get them arrested.
