Hyderabad: An autorickshaw driver sustained grievous injuries after his vehicle rammed into a police patrol van at Shankarpally on the city outskirts on Sunday morning.
According to the police, the accident took place on Sunday morning when the auto driver, who was on his way to Shankarpally after delivering vegetables in the city market, lost control and rammed into the police patrol van. The auto driver was reportedly at high speed and rammed the police van at Shankerpally bus stand. The auto driver lost control and hit the van on the other side of the road. The police vehicle also suffered damage. Immediately, police constables, who were in the police van bound for the city got down and informed 108 ambulance who rushed to the spot. The injured autorickshaw driver was shifted to a hospital for treatment. A case was registered by the Shankerpally police.
