Ayodhya issue: Minority Commission refuses to move to SC

New Delhi: Clarifying its stand on Babri Masjid-Ram Janmabhoomi title suit, National Minority Commission announced that it will not move to Supreme Court, but will wait for its verdict. The decision was taken in a high-level meeting held at the NMC office located at CGO complex.

According to Inquilab National Minority Commission Chairman Syed Ghayurul Hasan Rizvi said that he wanted to make clear that anything said by Chairman is not the decision of the Commission but an opinion. He said that there was a hue & cry during the past few days over his opinion hence the commission called a meeting and clarified its stand.

The NMC Chairman said when Supreme Court has already decided that the hearing of the case will be done in January then there is no use of moving to SC, we will wait for its decision.
