Azhar exhorts party cadre to strive for Congress win

Hyderabad: Senior Congress leader and former Indian Cricket Team captain and the newly appointed Working president of TPCC Mohammad Azharuddin on Friday called upon the party workers to work hard for the victory of the party in the ensuing Assembly elections. He made it clear that the people of the State would not have raised any questions against CM KCR had he fulfilled all the promises made by him.

Noting that KCR failed to implement 12% reservation promise made to Muslims of the State, Azhar said it was the Congress party that had worked for the development of the country. Azhar was elected from Moradabad Lok Sabha seat in 2009 general elections. However, he lost in 2014 general elections from Tonk Sawai Madhopur MP seat of Rajasthan.
