Azharuddin to contest HCA elections

Hyderabad: Stating that the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has not imposed any ban against him, former cricketer and former Congress MP Mohammed Azharuddin has announced that he would contest Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) elections.

Speaking at a program here on Saturday, Azharuddin said HCA president G Vivek was making baseless and unwarranted allegations against him. He reiterated that he has the solid support of Hyderabad citizens. (NSS)
