Aziz Pasha demands Commissionerate for protection of Waqf properties

Hyderabad: On receipt of information regarding illegal occupation of Masjid-e-Qutub Shahi, Boduppal, former MP Rajya Sabha and national President Insaaf Mr Syed Aziz Pasha reached the site and met the locals to get information. Locals told that Masjid Qutub Shahi Boduppal is a Waqf property whose survey no is 150. 18.32 guntas of land is attached to it. But land grabbers have been eyeing on the valuable Waqf land for years.

According to locals, there was a case between Waqf board and land grabbers in the tribunal for 3 years and the judgment came in favour of Waqf board. But the Waqf Board didn’t submit caveat in the High Court, as a result, the encroacher got stay order for six months on tribunal’s order by approaching with the fake survey numbers.

Claiming that Waqf Board has completely failed in protecting Waqf property, the Locals alleged a nexus between Waqf board officials and the land grabbers. They also alleged that police are also backing the encroachers.

Mr Syed Aziz Pasha urged the government to create commissionerate immediately as promised, to protect valuable Waqf properties in the State.
