Attack on Dy. CM’s son, MIM MLA Balala granted bail

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM), MLA Ahmed Balala, who was arrested on Tuesday and taken to the Bolaram Police station for alleged attack on Azam Ali, son of Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mahmood Ali was granted bail on Wednesday.

According to reports, AIMIM workers allegedly attacked Mohammed Azam Ali on Tuesday. MIM MLA Balala with more than 200 of his followers barged into Deputy CM house in old city and manhandled his son for working for the success of TRS candidates in Malakpet constituency.

Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) leaders complained that the followers of Malakpet MLA Ahmed Balala carried out the attack following a heated argument between the supporters of MIM and TRS. Balala was arrested following this incident and produced before the Nampally court on Wednesday. He has now been granted bail.

The supporters of MIM Party headed by MP Asaduddin Owaisi also allegedly attacked Mohammed Ali Shabbir in front of DCP South Zine near Mir Chowk Police Station at Mir Alam Mandi, Hyderabad.

MIM and its supporters also have been accused of carrying out attacks on MBT party leader Amjadullah Khan, son of Amanullah Khan near Sapotabagh, Mumtaz College, Malakpet.
