Banks face difficulty in setting Rs. 200 notes in ATMs

Hyderabad: Reserve Bank of India (RBI) issued new currency notes of the denomination of Rs. 200 which has increased the anxiety of bank officials since they have to put these notes into ATMs whereas this facility is not available in ATMs.

People who have Rs. 2000 notes are facing apprehensions that these notes might be withdrawn. However, Govt. has not formulated any strategy for the withdrawal of Rs. 2000 notes so far.

Bank officials are facing difficulty since RBI is releasing Rs. 2000 notes in smaller numbers.
