Battle of ballot will be one-sided: Kavitha

Hyderabad: Nizamabad MP K Kavitha today predicted that battle of ballot will be one sided and the TRS will sweep the upcoming elections as the Opposition parties cannot take on the might of the ruling party. The TRS will show its strength by its public meeting in Nizamabad, she said.

Talking to mediapersons in Nizamabad today, Kavitha said the ruling party will create history and send shockwaves among the constituents of Mahakootami in the impending elections by winning a minimum of 100 seats out of 119, she predicted. She expressed surprise at the arch rivals of the Congress and the Telugu Desam forging an unholy alliance. Even the leaders of these two parties could not digest the alliance, Kavitha felt.

If that is the case, how the people can trust the alliance of the arch rivals in the elections, she asked. She also launched a broadside at the Congress leadership for its scathing attack on the TRS leadership and attributing IT raids on Revanth Reddy to its meddling. “We do not have any role in the IT raids on the Congress leader”, she reasoned.

Kavitha also said the IT and the governments will take steps on their own. There was no truth in the Congress allegations that the ruling party was suppressing the Opposition parties for taking on its leadership. The IT sleuths are continuing raids on the offices and houses of Revanth Reddy and kin in Hyderabad and Kodangal.
