Md Salim says, ‘I have tried my level best to deliver development and increased quality of life to my constituents, especially people from vulnerable sections of the society. Be it inside or outside the Parliament, I have always stood up for the rights of students, workers, farmers, the unemployed youth, and the people affected by the anti-people activities of this government of a party which is communal, and beholden to corporate interests.’
Md Salim added, ‘this time the TMC, with its endless pit of money filled from looting the public, and the BJP, with its shady corporate backers and its black money, have turned this ‘festival of democracy’ into a shameless parade of money power and muscle power. To combat their disgusting efforts to buy off the democratic process, I appeal to every person who believes that I should be there in the Parliament continuing our struggle against anti-people forces like the BJP & TMC, and feels that politics should be about decency and securing a constructive alternative for our future, please help us by sending your contributions.
