Hyderabad: A pilgrim belonging to Bhongir district of Telangana died in Makkah Mukarrama on Monday. 68-year-old, Abdul Kareem Ibrahim having cover no TSR-4492-2 left for Hajj on August 16 along with his wife Ghousia Begum. After completing Hajj rituals they returned to Makkah Mukarrama where his health deteriorated. Abdul Kareem Ibrahim was shifted to the hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.
On learning about the death of the Haji, Special officer Telangana Hajj Committee Prof. S A Shukoor contacted Khadimul Hujjaj and directed to perform funeral rites. His funeral prayer was offered at Haram Shareef and was buried in local graveyard.
