Patna: A video footage showing Bihar’s Arrah District Jail inmates taking drugs, surfing net on their mobile phones has emerged on social networking sites.
Bihar police has now launched an investigation regarding the use of Drugs and mobile phones by prison inmates with no police personnel around in Bhojpur district.
Additional Director General of Police( Headquarters) SK Singhal who started the investigation said, “We are examining the video footage and conducting intensive raids at the jail.”
Adding that strict action will be taken against such unlawful activities inside the jail premises, abp reported.
