New Delhi: Former captain of Indian cricket team and Manager Bishan Singh Bedi described air pollution in Delhi through an Urdu verse.
On the occasion of Diwali, while the government and people expressed concern over the air pollution, Bishan Singh Bedi expressed his thoughts by tweeting an Urdu verse.
He wrote:
Chehre pe saare shaher kay gard-e-malal hai
Jo dil ka haal hai wohi Dilli ka haal hai
The tweet became popular among Urdu knowing Twitterati. The verse was liked and retweeted a number of times. The said verse was also written in Hindi.
