Bitcoin gets Currency status by Google

For the first time, Google’s search bar showed conversion tool when the word ‘bitcoin’ was typed on search engine. It clearly showed Indian Rupees equivalent to the value of bitcoin in real time.

Other digital currencies like Ethereum, Ripple, and Lite Coin do not feature in Google’s list of currencies. Using this tool one can get the exchange rate of the bitcoin against any currency in the world.

It can also be calculated by using Google’s nifty calculator that how much bitcoins are worth in Indian rupees.

The number of searches for stock investing has been taken over by bitcoin investing between November 26 and December 2, say Google trends. Finance minister Arun Jaitley and the Reserve Bank of India might be advising people to avoid this new entrant but people are clearly not listening.
