In a press statement. today the LOP said the BJP nation wide campaign of dharnas and relay hunger strikes begun today was yet another political gimmick to fool the people and pass the buck and blame on the opposition party and congress for its dirty handling of minority quota issue of Telangana and the Andhra Pradesh special status issue . ‘The BJP strategy to blame the congress for all of its failures will not be believed by the people’he said.
Parliament was stalled by partners of the NDA like the AIADMK ,TDP and TRS who had caused chaos and disruption of proceedings . The PM Modi was silent all over the Budget Session of 23 working days and not made any efforts to bring normalcy all these days, he added.
The BJP Government was afraid in parliament for taking up the burning issues like CBSE paper leak , Bank scam. The Congress had also supported the critical public demands for special Status to AP and the Cauvery water issue ‘he said.
The Lop said the BJP is blaming the congress Party in order to divert public attention from its failures on all fronts like PNB scam, failed poll promises etc . ‘It is a shame that BJP is not giving due protection to Dalits and also the minorities, in the states under it’s rule, he added. (NSS)
