BJP committed to welfare of Gulf migrants

Hyderabad: “The recent case of 15 people from Nizamabad in Telangana stuck in ERBIL, Iraq has come to our notice. We are actively pursuing the case with all stakeholders involved for their safe repatriation.

We understand that this is a case of agent committing fraud and abandoning them in Iraq. We are deeply concerned about the well-being of these people and are monitoring this situation regularly”, said State BJP president Dr K. Laxman, MLC and Greater Hyderabad BJP president Ramchander Rao vowed to strive for the welfare of Gulf Migrants and solve their problems overseas and upon their return. “Now that elections are over, we urge the Government of Telangana to frame a broad based NRI policy to address the woes of Gulf Migrants”, they added.
