BJP Criticizes CPM for dubbing BJP as kouravas

Taking a dig at the Left parties, Telangana BJP president Dr K Laxman today said leaders of Left parties talk about cooperation between two parties in the day time but talk as they like in the night.

Speaking to the media here today, Laxman said the CPM meeting being held here was probably meant only to criticize Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Left parties’ leaders should realize the Communism was fading away across the globe, he said. Laxman pointed out that Communists were resorting to mindless violence in Kerala State and faced unceremonious defeat in West Bengal and Tripura States.

At another media conference, BJP floor leader G Kishan Reddy said there are two groups in the CPM party. While one group inclined to support Congress party, the other group opposes it, he pointed out. Deploring the decision of the CPM to work with the Congress party in the ensuing elections, Kishan Reddy said it shows bankruptcy of the CPM which wanted to support Congress.

Faulting the CPM leaders for calling the BJP as Kauravas, Kishan Reddy said his party was striving to protect unity and integrity of the country. The people of the country will decide who were playing role of Kauravas, he added. He also pointed out that the people across the country were rejecting the CPM, including in West Bengal. The BJP was in the second position in the West Bengal while the CPM was in the third position, he said and hoped that the BJP would wrest power in Kerala whenever elections are held there. (NSS)
