BJP eyeing to form Govt in TS after Assembly polls, formulates special strategy

Hyderabad: BJP is trying to strengthen its base in Telangana State. After the success of four of its parliamentary candidates in Telangana State, the saffron party’s ambition has increased.

BJP claims that the leaders of TDP and Congress are joining its fold.

It may be mentioned that BJP polled 19.5% votes in Telangana in Parliamentary elections which is the highest percentage attained by the party so far.

A leader of BJP contends that like West Bengal and Odisha, the party has made a good beginning in Telangana State.

It is reported that General Secretary of BJP, Mr. Ram Madhav who is incharge of the party in Telangana has prepared a special strategy to get important leaders of Reddy community and OBCs into BJP. It is believed that Reddy community is the traditional rival of Velama Community which is CM’s caste.

It is also reported that BJP was successful in roping in the senior Reddy leaders of Mehboob Nagar, Mr. Jitender Reddy, former Minister, Ms. D.K. Aruna, Mr. P. Sudhakar Reddy, OBC leader, Arvind Dharampuri who is the son of Mr. D. Srinivas, former AP Congress President.

It may be mentioned that Mr. Babu Rao and Mr. Arvind Dharampuri got elected to Lok Sabha from Adilabad and Nizamabad Constituencies repectively. The successful candidate of Secunderabad Parliamentary Constituency, Mr. G. Kishan Reddy was made Minister of State for Home Affairs.

BJP leaders claim that they are making an attempt to bring Reddy and OBC leaders to a common platform. If this strategy meets with success, the party hopes to get tremendous success in the Assembly Elections of 2023.

State President of BJP, Dr. Lakshman said that the downfall of Congress in TS will be the rise of BJP. He went to the extent of saying that after the Assembly elections of 2023, BJP’s flag will be hoisted at Golconda Fort of Hyderabad.
