BJP leaders, cadre in Goshamahal join TRS

Hyderabad: The Bharatiya Janata Party suffered a setback in the city with several party senior leaders and workers from the Goshamahal Assembly constituency leaving the saffron party and joining the ruling TRS here on Sunday morning in the presence of IT Minister KT Rama Rao. BJP city vice-presidents Govind Rathi and A. Laxman along with Praveen Kumar of BJP youth wing and others joined the TRS and promised to work for the success of TRS candidates in the ensuing polls.

Meanwhile, several Seemandhra associations in the city pledged their total support to the TRS in the coming elections. A declaration of their support was presented to KTR through representatives of residential welfare associations from Serilingampally and Kukatpally on Sunday. They praised the TRS government’s efforts to ensure peace and progress in the State capital.
