BJP leaders pay tributes to Deendayal Upadhyaya

Hyderabad: The State BJP leaders today paid tributes to Pandit Deendayal Upadyaya’s death anniversary. BJP State wing president Dr K. Laxman and other party leaders paid floral tributes at the portrait of Deendayal Upadyaya at the party headquarters here.

Speaking on the occasion, Laxman said they were celebrating the occasion as “Samarpan Divas” in the State and across the country. He called upon the people of the State and nationalists to come forward and extend their support either in the form of kind and kindred to mark the occasion. He said they were collecting donations as per the instructions of national president Amit Shah. He also said the drive would be held till February 15. Noting that the donations could be given through online through their app as well, he said that those who make the donations online would get a receipt immediately.

Commenting on the party’s strategy for the ensuing Lok Sabha elections, Laxman said they would go to the people with a slogan “Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar (One More Time; Modi Government) to build a modern India. He said they were in the process of identifying volunteers, who can devote 10 days time to make Modi PM again in the State.
Recalling the services of Pandit Deendayal, Laxman said the BJP ideologue had sacrificed his entire life in the service of the people of the country. He said they were also launching another program — Hoisting of the Party flag on the residences of each and every party worker from Tuesday. Laxman said the program would be run till February 25.
