BJP MP Paswan behind attack says Dr. Kafeel Khan

Lucknow: Dr. Kafeel Khan an accused in the negligence case involving many deaths of infants and children in the BRD Medical College located in Gorakhpur in BJP ruled state, has come forward to speak up on the recent attack on his brother.

Speaking to the reporters on Sunday, Dr. Kafeel Khan alleged that a BJP MP from Bansgaon, Kamlesh Paswan was behind the recent attack on his brother Kashif Jamal who is still in ICU, PTI reported.

He said: “The attack on Kashif was carried out at the behest of BJP MP from Basgaon Kamlesh Paswan in collusion with Satish Nanglia (the owner of a plaza in Gorakhpur).”

Revealing further facts into the case, Kafeel Khan said the duo wanted to occupy a land belonging to their maternal uncle for which an FIR has also been registered.

Previously though the doctor managed to save lives he was sent to jail while the whole department put the blame on the Doctor for the Gorakhpur’s incident.

Dr. Khan now demands security cover for himself and his family members from the State government adding that they all are facing threat to their lives.

However, Mr. Paswan, says Kafeel khan’s allegations are baseless. He said: “These are all baseless allegations. I have got nothing to do with the case (attack on Mr. Kashif). And, I am ready for any sort of probe,” Mr. Paswan said.

“Through these acts, Dr. Khan is attempting to establish himself politically,” he added.

On June 10, Mr. Kashif, aged 34, a businessman and brother of Dr Kafeel was allegedly shot in the neck, hand and his chin by some unidentified men near JP Hospital in Gorakhpur.

He was later rushed to a private nursing home from where he was then shifted to the trauma centre of King George Medical University in Lucknow.
