BJP slams Naidu for indulging in anti-Modi campaign

BJP national official spokesperson and MP J V L Narasimha Rao has said Andhra Pradesh government was deliberately spreading false information against the Modi government.
Speaking to the media along with A P State party president Kanna Lakshminarayana, Narasimha Rao alleged that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was giving false information on Dolera city and Sardar Vallabhabhai Patel projects in Gujarat. The Centre has given merely Rs 1,293 crore for the project. But it was not proper to propagate disinformation that Rs 98,000 crore was funded by the Centre for the project. The Centre would release funds for the project cost as well as on the basis of the land acquisition.

Rao said the Centre was providing funds for Krishnapatnam industrial corridor. But the State government has acquired only 15,00 acres land for the project where as it has to acquire 12,000 acres for the project. Instead of completing land acquisition work, Chandrababu Naidu was indulging in misinformation campaigning against the Centre, he lambasted. The Centre would also develop Visakhapatnam, Srikalhasti cities, he said.

Kanna Lakshminarayana alleged that Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu was facing people’s ire as he failed to fulfil a single promise made during elections. He said Chandrababu Naidu was trying to divert attention of the people from his failures. The Chief Minister was also provoking people to cover up from his misdeeds.
The Centre was extending all possible help to complete the Polavaram project. But the state government was indulging in irregularities. The people have apprehensions in sending out Venkateshwar Rao from the project work and appointing a junior officer as per his whims, he said. (NSS)
