“BJP trying to retrieve Dawood back for elections”: Raj Thackeray

Mumbai: Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray on Thursday claimed that the BJP government was trying to reach gangster Dawood Ibrahim in order to get him back to India for gathering electoral dividends before the 2019 parliamentary polls.

“Dawood wants to come back to India, he is involved in talks with the centre to come to India, he himself wants to come back to India as he is handicapped and wants to spend his last days in India. While Dawood wants to come back on his own, the BJP will use it by getting him back before the elections to get votes,” claimed Raj.

Calling it a waste of money, the MNS chief also opposed the Mumbai to Ahmedabad bullet train saying that the train will not benefit Maharashtra at all.
