Aaj Tak TV Journalist posted blasphemous remarks against Hazrat Bibi Fatima on Twitter which triggered the outrage
Hyderabad: Muslims of Sunni and Shia sects staged a protest at the office of Commissioner of Police Hyderabad Old City against TV Journalist, Rohit Sardana who desecrated Hazrat Bibi Fatima by posting objectionable material on Twitter.
Later, a group of protestors met DCP of South Zone, Mr. V. Satyanarayana and handed over a memorandum demanding the arrest of Aaj Tak TV Journalist Rohit Sardana.
Maulana Dr. Nisar Husain Agah told the DCP that by posting desecrating remarks against Hazrat Bibi Fatima, the TV journalist hurt the feelings of Muslims. The DCP told that anyone who misuses social media will not be spared. He informed that Dabeerpura Police registered a case and investigations are in progress.
It may be mentioned that Rohit Sardana had posted blasphemous remarks against Hazrat Bibi Fatima. Police registered a case under section 295 (A) of IPC.
