Blast targets Foreign Forces’ convoy in Kandahar

Kabul [Afghanistan]: A suicide bomber targeted a convoy of foreign forces in Afghanistan’s southern province of Kandahar on Friday afternoon.

A Romanian forces’ convoy was attacked near the Kandahar Airport when a suicide bomber blew up his explosive-laden car close to it, Tolo News reported.

According to the sources, three Romanian soldiers were wounded in the blast.

More details were awaited.

On August 1, seven foreign soldiers were killed when a suicide bomber targeted a NATO convoy in Kandahar and Taliban claimed the responsibility for the attack. (ANI)
