Blind beggar couple forced to chant “Jai Shri Ram” – Here’s what Asaduddin Owaisi says

Kolkata: In an incident, an elderly Muslim beggar couple was forced to chant “Jai Shri Ram”. Later, a video of the incident went viral on social media.

In the video that had emerged from Bengal, the blind beggar couple Abul Bashar (67) and his wife Bedana Bibi (61) can be seen desperately pleading that they are visually disability but the miscreants did not listen to them.

Holding a saffron flag with “Om” written on it, Bashar is seen chanting ‘Jai Shri Ram’ and ‘Jai Maa Tara’. “My only fault was that I am a Muslim and I entered a Hindu-dominated area,” Bashar told The Indian Express Sunday.

Reacting to this incident, MIM President, Mr. Asaduddin Owaisi said that those who were involved in forcing the couple to chant “Jai Sri Ram” are actually the enemy of “Ram”.
