Gaza: The body of a Palestinian scientist assassinated in Malaysia was brought to his native Gaza Strip on Thursday. The family of Fadi al-Batsh a member of Islamist group Hamas has accused Israel’s Mossad spy agency of killing him.
Fadi al-Batsh who was said to be a rocket-making expert was shot dead in a hail of bullets by motorbike-riding attackers as he walked to a Kuala Lumpur mosque for Fajr prayers on Saturday morning.
Hundreds of people throng to have a last glimpse of Fadi’s body which was taken across the border between Gaza and Egypt on Thursday ahead of his funeral.
