Bolivian president Mr.Evo Morales had a long speech for US president Mr.Donald Trump. Morales has been a long time critic of US Policies.He said that the US launches missiles, invades nations all in the name of freedom,justice and in the cause of humanitarian rights. There is always a propaganda behind every action taken by the US government.
He added, “I would like to say to you frankly and openly here, in no way is the United States interested in upholding democracy”. If such were the case then it would not have financed coup d’etats and supported dictators. It would not have threatened with military intervention democratically elected governments,as it is done with Venezuela.
The united states could not care less about human rights and justice. If this were the case, it would have signed international conventions and treaties for the protection of human rights.
It would not have threatened the investigation mechanism of the international criminal court nor it would have promoted the use of torture, nor would it have walked away from the human rights council.and nor would it have separated migrant children from their families and nor would it have put them in cages.
The united states are not interested in multilateralism.if it were interested in multilateralism,it would not have withdrawn from the Paris Agreement or given the cold shoulder to the global compact on migrants. It would not have launched unilateral attacks, nor have taken decisions, such as illegally declaring Jerusalem to be the capital of Israel.
