Bollywood celebrities support Hillary Clinton for President of America

Mumbai: The world is taking its sides in the upcoming US Presidential election. And knowing how much our Bollywood celebrities have become active on social media, it is quite understandable if a star shares his choice of candidate and expressed their desire to see Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton as the next President of America.

Salman Khan is first among the top Bollywood stars to express his views on the much-discussed US elections.

He posted a picture of Hillary Clinton and gave his best wishes to her writing, “Hope you win. May god give you the strength to follow the constitution and human values. All the best. #HillaryClintonforpresident”.

I’m with her, tweeted two big Bollywood stars – Rishi Kapoor, who has an opinion on everything, andSalman Khan, who usually keeps politics at an arm’s length.

Veteran Indian actor Kabir Bedi wished for the ‘historic moment’ when Ms Clinton would become the first woman President of the US.

The Kahani actress Vidya Balan too ome out in her support of Ms Clinton.

“I am hoping and praying that Hillary Clinton becomes the next President of the United States. I follow her. Every day I watch television to see her debates. And I really think it is time, we had a women president in America which is one of the strongest economies in the world.”

Mallika Sherawat also also revealed that she is “praying” for Hillary to be elected. Mallika took to Twitter and posted a throwback picture of herself with Barack Obama and captioned it as, “My full support to the Democrats, praying for #HillaryClinton victory @HillaryClinton @HFA @POTUS.”

Ms Clinton, already garnered enough support from several American celebraties and Hollywood stars including Oscar winner Leonardo DiCaprio, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Beyonce, Jeffrey Katzenenberg, Katy Perry, George and Amal Clooney and many more.
