Hyderabad: The Election Commission of India has allotted “box” poll symbol to the Telangana Jana Samithi in the State. The party was founded by former convener of Telangana Joint Action Committee Prof. M Kodandaram.
The EC has allotted symbols to 76 political parties registered with it from the State. It also allotted “Batman” symbol to Anna YSR Congress Party which is in fray in 10 seats in Telangana and “Football Player” symbol in 13 seats of Andhra Pradesh State. The EC also allotted “Bench” poll symbol to Bharatiya Rastriya Morcha which will be contesting in 16 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana State and “Computer” symbol to Marxist Communist Party of India in four seats of the state.
