Uttar Pradesh: The 16-year-old boy was allegedly beaten to death by a group of boys for talking to the girlfriend of one of the accused persons in Kanpur.
The deceased was a student of Class 11, he was a friend of a girl living in his neighbourhood, but her boyfriend did not approve of her talking to the boy frequently. Her boyfriend had even warned the victim many times in the past to stay away from her.
When the teenager was once again seen talking to the girl by her boyfriend, he called his other friends and assaulted him, resulting in his death on the spot. The boy was rushed to the Lala Lajpat Rai hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
A case has been registered against the girl’s boyfriend and those involved in this act.
