Hyderabad: Research scientist of National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Hyderabad has proved through his research that the leaves and flowers of neem tree have been useful in treating breast cancer.
Mr. G. Chandraiah a scientist of the institute informed that he consulted various scientific organizations. Biotechnology, AYUSH, Dept. of Science and Technology have assured financial assistance to him.
Mr. Chandraiah explained that breast cancer can be treated by using neem leaves and its flowers. He also informed that preliminary clinical investigations are yet to be conducted. An attempt is being made to prepare drug utilizing scientific methods.
