Hyderabad: A bride pushed the groom just before the wedding was to be solemnized and went away from the mandap. The bizarre incident occurred at Mahboobabad district of Telangana.
The marriage of a local youth was settled with a girl from Khammam with the consent of elders. All the rituals were performed and only the rounds were to be made, when suddenly the bride pushed the groom and went away saying, she has no interest in this marriage. Everyone including the groom and his family were shocked by her behaviour.
On receipt of information, DSP Naresh Kumar tried to convince the bride but she didn’t give in. Thus the marriage had to be cancelled. The reason behind her rejection of the marriage is still unknown.
