Bright future for Uma Reddy, Sandeep in TRS: KCR

TRS supremo and Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today said former minister Uma Madhava Reddy and her son Sandeep Reddy will have better future in the TRS.

Speaking after inviting the mother-and-son duo with traditional pink shawls along with some other leaders at Telangana Bhavan here, KCR said he was happy that Uma Madhava Reddy, Sandeep Reddy and other top leaders of the district were joining the TRS for development of the State. “I hope they will develop the district and its segments and the party. Politics are very common in which we will either win or lose”, he said, adding that new State would achieve all-round development. “Whatever the problems we faced in the combined State should be resolved now”, he said. Nalgonda district is backward and efforts are on to bring IT industry at Bhongir for development, KCR said.

The TRS supremo said, “Uma Madhav Reddy is like my sister and Madhava Reddy was his close friend. They joined the party to partner in the development of the State and Bhongir segment and I welcome them wholeheartedly. Madhava Reddy served Nalgonda district to best of his ability and we do not know who gets an opportunity in politics and when”, he said.

The Chief Minister said, “The present-day politics have leaders with less patience. Uma Madhava Reddy did not put any demand before me to join the TRS and they will get good opportunities”. He asked Enegry Minister G Jagadish Reddy to ensure that old and new leaders in the TRS should be treated alike for party’s growth. Several leaders from Nalgonda became ministers and Sandeep Reddy, who is aware of politics has better future, he said, adding that Yadadri Temple near Bhongir will be turned into a famous temple.

Speaking later, Uma Madhava Reddy said she did not talk about posts in the TRS and exuded confidence that KCR would develop Telangana State on all fronts.
