Demanding that the State government solve their long-pending problems, Cab Drivers today tried to lay a siege to the Assembly.
The agitators tried to storm the Assembly after parking their cars on the road locking car doors. As a result, vehicular traffic came to a grinding halt around the Assembly area. However, the police removed the cabs by pressing cranes into service. (NSS)
